Age structure per municipality on the 1st January 2018

Au 1er janvier 2018, 313 771 personnes ont la nationalité luxembourgeoise alors que 288 234 personnes ont une autre nationalité. La population luxembourgeoise est donc composée de 52.1% de Luxembourgeois et de 47.9% de personnes ayant une nationalité étrangère. La population de nationalité étrangère est en forte croissance depuis la fin de la deuxième guerre mondiale. La part des étrangers a augmenté depuis l'année 1961. En 57 ans, la population étrangère est passée de 13.2% à 47.9%.
